Description

Well here it is the very first WWE/Inuyasha crossover fanfiction. I'm more infatuated with the characters of the WWE rather than the wrestling itself. I am so in love with Matt and Jeff Hardy right now.

Don't worry I full intend to finish IY14, but I am having some writers block with it.

Anywho, I hope you enjoy this story and the artwork. The picture is of Matt Hardy, Jeff Hardy and Kagome looking down into the infamous boneater's well.

Oh and just a note, the WWE does a lot of world tours, so yes it is realstic for Jeff and MAtt to be in Japan.

Enjoy!

Kagome woke to the feel of being shaken. She rolled over and pulled the covers tightly over her, hoping the intruder would just go away. She was so tired, it was her first day back for a weekend staying with her family, and she was enjoying the comfortableness of her own bed and did not want to be disturbed. Unfortunately the intruders did not go away, in fact the covers were pulled from her bed forcing Kagome to acknowledge the presence of whoever was in her room.

"Five more minutes mom..." Kagome groaned, pulling the pillow over her head.

"Kagome-chan! Wake up!" The pitched excited squeal of Kagome's friend Eri pierced her ears even through the cloth of the pillow.

Kagome finally decided to give into her friend's demands and get up, secretly hoping that once they got what they wanted they would go away and let her go back to sleep.

"What is it Eri?" Kagome sat up and yawned. "Oh hey Yuka."

"Kagome come on you gotta get up and get dressed!" Eri pulled on Kagome's arm. "They'll be here any minute!"

"What? Who?" Kagome automatically followed Eri's lead to her closet.

"The Hardy Boyz!" Yuka, said excitedly, pulling out Kagome's navy blue turtleneck and tan skirt.

"Who?" Kagome stared at her friends bleary-eyed.

"Remember those guys from the WWE we were talking about a couple of weeks ago?"

"Yeah what about them?" Kagome yawned again.

"They're going to be here any minute!" Yuka announced thrusting the the clothes into Kagome's arms.

"What? Like in a match on tour here?" Kagome blinked, waking up a little more.

"No! At your house!" Eri shouted.

Kagome's eyes popped open as if Eri and Yuka had just slapped her in the face. "What? Here...?"

After a moment of startled silence, there was a great bustling about of clothes and make-up in an effort to make Kagome ready for her gentlemen callers.

"I don't believe it! I entered that contest as a joke, I didn't think I'd actually win!" Kagome said, frantically putting on her skirt.

"This will be good for you Kagome!" Eri said while brushing her hair. "Maybe it will help you get over that boorish boyfriend of yours."

"He's not that bad Eri..." Kagome chuckled as picture of Inuyasha flitted through her mind.

Mrs. Higurashi smiled as her daughter came rushing downstairs.

"You look beautiful dear. I'm sure the HArdy Boyz will be quite impressed." Kagome's mother smiled kindly.

"You knew about this?" Kagome stared at her mother in disbelief. She was beginning to hope this whole thing was just a joke by her friends, but if her mom confirmed it, it must be so.

"I'm sorry dear, they called a few days ago while you were..." Mrs. Higurashi paused as Eri and Yuka came down the stairs. She was about to say "While you were in the feudal Era' but with the two other girls there she had to come up with an alternate place. "While you were in the hospital with your broken ankle."

"Oh...right!" Kagome answered, quickly backing up her mother's story. "But why didn't you tell.'

" I was so happy to see you were all right. I forgot...I'm sorry dear." Mrs. Higurashi said apologetically.

"It's all right mom." Kagome smiled, then took a deep breath. "Well, I'm ready as I'll ever be."

"I'm going to kill Vince McMahon for this..." Matt Hardy grumbled pressing his forehead against the car window.

"Oh, come on man, there's a lot worse things he could do." Jeff Hardy opened his eyes from the catnap he was stealing while they were being driven to the contest winner's house.

"I don't mind the concept of this thing, I just hate that he scheduled it the day before our title match against MNM." The older Hardy brother growled at the window. "We should be using this day to train and rest and plot our strategy."

"I agree, but what are we going to do about it? It's not just Vince, it's the fans we gotta keep on our side. Never blow off a fan." Jeff stated matter-of-factly. "I learned the hard way."

"Yeah, our fans can get pretty crazy." Matt chuckled. "Remember that girl wrote us a fan letter in her own blood?"

"Jeez, don't remind me, that was creepy, I thought she was gonna stalk us." Jeff shivered slightly at the memory.

"Let's just hope she's not Japanese and didn't win this contest, else this day will become a real hell." Matt laughed worriedly.

"Yeah...no kidding."

"You guys better pull on your WWE faces," The driver called back to them. "We're here."

"Hm. Quaint little place." Matt said thoughtfully.

"Tiny." Jeff said flatly. "And oh look the media is already here."

"Well not everyone has 100 acres of unclaimed North Carolinian forest in their backyard." Matt chuckled giving his younger brother a pat on the back.

"That's just the house." the driver said. "They have a whole huge temple they're in charge of in back."

"A Temple?" Jeff perked up. "Hm. Maybe this outing won't be so boring after all."

"Yeah."

Kagome's heart started pounding when there was loud knock at the door. Her friends had abandoned her saying that they would just be in the way, but that Kagome should be sure to get plenty of autographs from the Hardy Boyz.

When the door opened, Kagome was practically blinded by the flashes of hundreds of cameras. She squeezed her eyes shut for a moment giving her retinas a rest before opening them again and focused on the two men that were her contest prize.

"And here is the lucky lady now." An anchor man appeared in front of her and practically dragged her out of the doorway of her house. "Meet the WWE's Hardy Boyz, Jeff Hardy and Matt Hardy."

"Hi, Hello." The Boyz shook her hand with polite smiles plastered on their faces.

Kagome blinked several times trying to clear the black spots from the flashing cameras out of her eyes, and managed to reply. "Hi, it's very nice to meet you guys in person."

"Don't worry it took us a little while for us to adjust to the flashing lights when we first started out." Jeff Hardy chuckled.

"Yeah, but now we're media veterans, just put a smile on that pretty face of yours and we'll handle the rest." Matt hardy grinned.

Kagome nodded, eager to get through with media attention and get back inside, the uncomfortableness of the situation was almost overwhelming and the flashing cameras were giving her a head ache. Still she managed to plaster a genuine looking smile on her face and held still and let the camera experienced Hardy Boyz go into several different poses around her all the while inching toward the door of her house. Once inside the quiet of her home, both Kagome and the Hardy Boyz breathed a sigh of relief.

"Well now that we don't have a bunch of people surrounding us, my name's Matt Hardy," the elder Hardy began, "and this is my baby brother Jeff."

"It's very nice to meet you both, my name is Kagome." Now that her eyes had finally recovered from the onslaught of camera flashes, she was finely able to get a good look at the two professional wrestlers. Anyone, could tell they were brothers, they had the same face structure body type and even the same eyes, but they also clearly had different tastes in how they wanted to look. Matt was the more normal looking one with his unadulterated dark hair and complexion. Meanwhile his brother Jeff took a more wild stance, with his hair being several different colors from dark brown roots, to bleach blonde, to blue melting into purple all done up into several small braids that gave the appearance of dreadlocks. On top of all this Jeff's facial hair had been shaven into distinct thin lines like tiger stripes.

All in all they were both good looking men and seemed very nice, but today Kagome was in no mood to deal with two people who were practically strangers to her. She was about to explain that she had just entered the contest as a joke and that they should really be going to see a more devoted fan when she felt a strange twinge in her body. It was the same kind of twinge she felt when she detected a jewel shard. She focused more closely on the two Hardys and sure enough the pure glow of a jewel shard emminated from each one of them.

Kagome felt her breath catch in her throat. How was this possible? The last jewel shard was in Kohaku's body, how could there be two more and how could they be showing up in her time? She had to keep them around until she could figure out this puzzle.

"So Kagome, I know we have scheduled dinner later on tonight, but in the meantime what do you do around here?" Matt asked after some uncomfortable silence of her staring at them.

"Huh? Oh, um. Would you like to see the temple?" Kagome said quickly.

"Sure. We're yours for the day." Jeff shrugged.

"Okay," Kagome tittered nervously. "Right this way please. Hopefully Grandpa will be there and he can tell you a lot about it."

"Kagome dear, Oh are these the Hardy Boyz?" Mrs. Higurashi poked her head out of the kitchen.
"Yeah, this is Matt and this Jeff." Kagome's tension eased a little now that her mother was there, she always seemed to know what to do.

"Very nice to meet you both, I am Mrs. Higurashi." Kagome's mother greeted the Hardy Boyz, who reciprocated politely. Then she turned to Kagome. "Unfortunately, your grandfather took Souta to the park, but I'm sure you'll do a fine job of showing them around the temple while I make lunch."

Kagome's nerve plummeted into her stomach. "Yeah, I'm sure I will....Right this way guys."

It took almost an hour for Kagome to give the Hardy Boyz a brief tour of the temple grounds. She was quite relieved that they were trying to be interested in what she had to say or were at least pretending. However, she was still no nearer to figuring out why they had jewel shards that when she started.

Finally they came to the infamous boneeater's well. To the naked eye of the average person it would look like just and average dried up well, but for Kagome it was a portal between her time dimension and Japan's feudal era.

"It's a long way down. Where's all the water?" Matt peered down into the darkness of the well.

"It's been dried up for a long time, but it's a scared place, so it was kept intact." Kagome explained.

"Why is it sacred?" Jeff asked curiously.

Kagome thought for a moment and decided to tell them the true story of the well, that way she could find out if they new anything already about the jewel shards.

"Well, they say it was once a portal between the modern world and the feudal era of Japan. That was about in the 1500's. They say a girl from the future traveled through the portal to help those in the past defeat a powerful enemy, who was collecting special stones to increase his power and take over Japan."

"Interesting." Matt said thoughtfully. "Sounds like a good idea for a Sci-Fi movie."

Kagome couldn't help giggling along with Jeff at his older brother's slight. Though it told her that they most likely knew nothing of the jewel shards inside them, just as she didn't know anything of the jewel inside her when she first traveled through the well. "Yes I suppose it does."

"Hey, Matt, I dare you to jump down there." Jeff snickered.

"No way, it's all dirty and dark down there. You're the extreme one, you do it." Matt protested.

While the brothers argued over who should jump down the well Kagome pondered on reasons why they could possibly have jewel shards in them. Could it possibly be that the jewel could already be reincarnating into the future?

"All right we'll both do it." Jeff smirked, as he put one leg on the well rim.

"You're on." Matt answered doing the same.

Kagome was interrupted from her thoughts when bright flash of light erupted from the well and the Hardy Boyz disappeared into it. She gasped and ran to the well looking down into it. It was well was empty.

Kagome shivered. Had they been transported back in time like she had? At this point in time it was the only logical explanation. She ran back toward the house at lightening speed.

"Kagome-chan I finished lunch." Mrs. Higurashi smiled. " Oh, where are the Hardy Boyz? Are they still outside ?"

"I'm afraid not, they jumped into the well." Kagome said between pants, frantically searching around for her backpack. "The portal light caught them. They have jewel shards in them."

"Oh my," Miss Higurashi opened a cupboard and pulled out Kagome's backpack. " Here. I'll keep the press off as long as I can."

"Thanks mom!' Kagome strapped the backpack on and headed back toward the well.

"Be careful dear!" Mrs. Higurashi called after Kagome as she leaped into the well and was enveloped in a pure white light...
