I drew this picture for the wonderful and talented Lerato 
. 
This is Sesshoumaru and Rin in a medieval context, based on the design and concept by Lerato and used WITH PERMISSION from Lerato.
This is Sesshoumaru protecting Rin from some enemy (maybe Naraku or Ryuukotsusei). From intial sketch to the rendition you see here, it took about 7 hours. I got into a artist's zone and couldn't get out of it until I was finished. It was a lot of fun!
Maybe I'll add more to the description when I feel a little more awake and my vision isn't seeing double.
