Sesshoumaru said nothing as they lifted him up and carried him away. He made no noise as they traveled to the coast, was silent as Suikoshin taunted him, remained mute when Hatore expressed regret.

He didn't make a sound until they tossed him over the edge of the cliff and into the sea, and then he roared so loudly his throat tore and bled as the sea rose up to claim him.

A scene from Resmiranda's beautiful fic "Tales from the House of the Moon", which everyone should at least attempt read (it's a long one, but a good one).

I've been wanting to do fanart of this scene ever since I read it, and I finally got it good enough to post.

This scene just stuck in my head a through the story. I think it was because all through the story Kagome and Sesshoumaru are trying to escape the prison of grief they have been trapped, and I think the reason this scene struck me was this was the moment where Sesshoumaru became imprisoned.

Poor Sesshoumaru...

I hope Resmiranda likes it. ^^;

Yeah it's very good, but also very long.....It took me weeks to read it....it's definately an epic.... ^^;

But how did I do this the drawing? Did the emotion come through?

It... totally freaks me out... It's really good, though! Isn't that fic... Sess/Kag? It's immensely popular, but I really REALLY can't stand that pairing... Maybe I'll be strong enough to read it someday... *is a die-hard Sess/Rin fan*

Well I didn't like a Sessh/Kag, but Resmiranda's story made me like the pairing in the story's universe.

This scene really jumped out at me and I have always wanted to do a tragic intense scene. Also it gave me an excuse to experiment with layer effects and gradients.

Of course Sessh/Rin is my top favorite!! :D

I'm not a fan of the Kag/Sess pairing (stories with this papiring make me cry because everyone gets killed off or it just dose NOT go with the original plot) but i am a fan of this story, it was just....beautiful. Still not a fan of the pair but i would most definatly read this fic again if i get the chance. I REALLY like this!! The one panel were you can see that he's thinking about Rin, and then the last panel hold so much emotion and depth into hoiw he must feel. FAVING!!! :excited: Love it!!

I thought it was a bit...boring, the fanfic. I mean, Kagome barely meets Sesshomaru until...I didn't read that far. I gave up on it after the part about the second scroll about Sesshomaru. Seccond time she was forced into the well.
